Hot Springs National Park... A rich history of peace and tolerance
dating back to indigenous times. Hot Springs, known as
"The Valley of Peace" to native Americans was a neutral
zone where even tribes at war could send their elders
and sick to restore their health in the local spring
waters. Hot Springs' mission of tolerance
continued through the 1960's with
tolerated gambling, vice and as a
neutral zone for the mob.
It's rich history just keeps getting more colorful as it is quickly
becoming a new eco-zone and it's health benefits are
being appreciated by a new generation of visitors.
